PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve an extremely highly efficient synchronous generator as compared with a conventional synchronous generator in a three-phase AC synchronous generator using a permanent magnet. SOLUTION: This armature has a structure which is not a conventional three-phase integrated type but three-separated to form armatures for each of three phases. The magnetic poles of the armatures are shifted in position from each other to generate a three-phase power. A segment magnet forming field pole has a special shape to reduce a drive torque.
