PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electro-optical device having a structure substrate which is hardly cracked. SOLUTION: The electro-optical device includes a display panel 12 sandwiching an organic EL element in between an element substrate 31 and a sealing substrate 32, and a resin film laminating to cover a first surface at the display-region side of the display panel 12 and a second surface facing the first surface. A repairing member 71 is set at least at the end sides 31b, 32b of the outer surface in the element substrate 31 and the sealing substrate 32, and the repairing member 71 has contraction stress.
