PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a ceramic heater with high durability capable of well preventing degradation of resistive heating element, even in case of use at high temperature continuously or intermittently for a long time. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the ceramic heater provided with a ceramic body made of ceramics with a base material and two or more kinds of auxiliaries sintered and an exothermic body embedded in the ceramic body includes a heat treatment process heat-treating at least the two kinds of auxiliaries at 700 to 1,450°C, a molding process of making a mold body by molding a mixture mixing the base material and the heat-treated auxiliaries so as the resistive heating elements to be embedded, and a sintering process of forming a ceramic heater by sintering the above mold body at 1,450 to 1,650°C.
