PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a terminal metal fitting capable of raising reliability for detecting a position, and a storage structure to a connector housing of the terminal metal fitting. SOLUTION: The terminal metal fitting 110 includes a cylindrical body part 11 wherein a mating tab 80 is inserted, and a contact part 26 which is formed on the body part 11 and is in contact with a tip of the tab 80 as an insertion route 35 of the tab 80 in the body part 11 is opened when the terminal metal fitting 10 is arranged at a normal position, and as the insertion route 35 of the tab 80 in the body part 11 is closed when the terminal metal fitting 10 is not arranged at the normal position.
