PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating composition that is excellent in shelf stability and drying property and is capable of forming a high-solid coating film that is excellent in weatherability, adhesion to an undercoating film and crack resistance and has a high gloss. SOLUTION: The coating composition comprises: 100 pts.mass partially hydrolyzed condensate prepared from at least one organosilane compound represented by the formula: R<SP>1</SP><SB>n</SB>Si(OR<SP>2</SP>)<SB>4-n</SB>; 0-50 pts.mass organosilane compound represented by formula (1): R<SP>1</SP><SB>n</SB>Si(OR<SP>2</SP>)<SB>4-n</SB>; 50-200 pts.mass of a fluorine-containing copolymer; and 0.1-5.0 pts.mass silane coupling agent. In the formula, R<SP>1</SP>is 1-8C alkyl group, cycloalkyl group, aryl group or vinyl group; R<SP>2</SP>is 1-5C alkyl group; and n is 0-2.
