PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems of a short lower-limb orthotic wherein the orthotic may be observed because the orthotic is exposed to the outside of a boot and wherein the contours of boots wearing the orthotic and without wearing the orthotic are largely different from each other because of the orthotic. SOLUTION: The leg positions on the left side and on the right side are made uniform by burying the lower part of the orthotic in the sole of the boot. The outside dimensions of the left and right boots are made uniform, so that the contours of the left and right boots are not largely different from each other. The orthotic is covered with the boot not to be exposed to the outside of the boots, so that the orthotic can not be observed. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
