PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a weeding-suppressive machine acting only on the proximity of the water surface of a paddy field, thus improving productivity in the organic farming, and, in its turn, contributing to environmental problems' solution, ecological system preservation, or the like, as well. SOLUTION: Close to the water surface of a paddy field, an external tractor 4 is mounted with a weeding-suppressive implement 1 generating waterflows in its advancing direction and a direction perpendicular to the advancing direction. Each of the waterflows in these two directions is formed by an agitating roller or water-jet nozzle and a waterflow-dispersive plate 3 having the function to make the direction of the resulting waterflows migrate. Besides, the weeding-suppressive machine is provided with a height control mechanism constituted of wheels and a float to form waterflows only in the proximity of the paddy field surface, thus enabling the weeding-suppressive effect to be improved.
