PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a boring method of a guide rail and a rail installing member and a boring tool used therefor, capable of forming a through-hole formed in the guide rail and the rail installing member installed on the guide rail, without dislocating the hole direction to the desired hole direction, without sliding a blade part to a rail base part. SOLUTION: This boring method of the guide rail and the rail installing member of an elevator is provided for forming the through-hole 40 in a rail base part 16a of a divided guide rail 16 and a push-applying part 33c installed on a reverse surface of the rail base part 16a, and comprises a process of fixing guide members 51A and 51B forming guide holes 53a and 55a to a rail projection part 16b so as to approach the rail base part 16a by turning the hole direction of the guide holes 53a and 55a toward the rail base part 16a, and a process of forming the through-hole 40 in the rail base part 16a and the push-applying part 33c while rotating the blade part 81 inserted into the guide holes 53a and 55a.
