<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an LED lighting device capable of uniformly illuminating a desired area with light, and to provide an image display apparatus using the LED lighting device. <P>SOLUTION: The LED lighting device A1 including a plurality of LED chips 3 includes: a plurality of LED units 1 each including an LED chip 3, a die bonding pad 21 and a bonding pad 22 making continuity with the LED chip 3, and a resin package 5 for supporting the die bonding pad 21 and the bonding pad 22; and a plurality of leads 2 in each of which one end is set to be one die bonding pad 21 of adjacent LED unit 1 and the other end is set to be the other bonding pad 22 of adjacent LED unit 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
