<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a syringe and a syringe coupler capable of facilitating the sucking operation when a liquid is sucked from a liquid container in the negative pressure state. <P>SOLUTION: A first syringe 2 (the same as a second syringe 3) is connected to a first chemical container 100 having a storage space 105 in the negative pressure state in which a first chemical Q1 is stored. The first syringe 2 includes an outer barrel 21 with a mouth 22 connected to the first chemical container 100, and a gasket 24 inserted into the outer barrel 21 to move along the longitudinal direction. A vent hole 213 penetrating the wall 212 of the outer barrel 21 is formed in the outer barrel 21.
