<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new microbicidal composition exhibiting a synergistic effect. <P>SOLUTION: This microbicidal composition comprises (a) N-(n-butyl)-1,2-benzoisothiazolin-3-one or N-methyl-1,2-benzoisothiazolin-3-one; and (b) dithio-2,2'-bis(N-methylbenzamide).
