<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem, wherein when whole packets being storage places of data on a communication path are consumed in performing a plurality of processes so as to cause a (deadlock) state where data processing is stopped, all the processes are abandoned, data traffic is limited, and then, the process is to be restarted, concerning a conventional data processing apparatus with a plurality of data processing units connected with a ring bus therein. <P>SOLUTION: Reset signals with respect to the data processing units are arranged, respectively independently. Thus, only a data path related to a process which is a factor that causes deadlocks, a process with less advance in processing as compared with other processes, a process in low priority, or the like, is reset among the plurality of processes.
