<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piston and a plunger most appropriate for a syringe having a very small capacity, which enable to suck and discharge liquid without leakage of the liquid while a plunger rod does not come off inadvertently from the piston even when the small piston mounted on a distal end of the plunger rod is operated in the direction in which the piston is pulled out of the syringe. <P>SOLUTION: The piston for a syringe having a very small capacity slides along a wall of a space within a syringe tube. The piston comprises: a tip-end member disposed on the side of the piston which is in contact with the liquid filled into the space; and a rear-end member disposed on the side of the piston to which the plunger rod is mounted and which is on the side opposite to the liquid side where the tip-end member is disposed. The tip-end member and the rear-end member are integrated with each other, and the rear-end member has higher hardness than the tip-end member. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
