<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cosmetic activator which can find utility in reducing an oxidation process as a cause for skin aging by substantially improving the effectiveness of endogenous antioxidant molecules and of a cosmetic which exhibits e.g., antioxidant action by keeping the moistness of the surface layer of the skin, epidermis, and stratum corneum satisfactory in view of the fact that there is a relationship between an oxidation process which acts harmfully on skin cells and is associated with their aging and the degree of moistness of skin and to provide a cosmetic composition which contains the activator, has moisturizing and antioxidant action, and can improve beauty care. <P>SOLUTION: There are provided a cosmetic activator containing a high polyphenol plant extract combined with at least one moisturizer or humectant and a cosmetic composition containing the activator. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
