<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting plotter capable of preventing degradation of the cutting quality caused by unevenness of a supporting surface of a medium supporting means such as a vacuum table and a felt, or unevenness formed on a medium to be worked which is supported by the supporting surface. <P>SOLUTION: The cutting plotter includes a work table for supporting a sheet-like medium, an end mill provided opposite to the medium supported by a medium supporting means to cut the medium, guide rails 31 and a Y-bar 32 for movably supporting the end mill in the direction parallel to and orthogonal to the surface opposite to a work tool of the medium, and a control unit 50 for performing the control so as to cut the medium by moving the end mill. The cutting plotter further includes an unevenness measuring means 100 for detecting unevenness of the medium supported by the medium supporting means.
