<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To know whether or not electric bills and water bills have been saved by carrying out an operation actually by using a shorter washing time and a reduced number of rinsing steps with respect to initially set details of the operation. <P>SOLUTION: The washing machine has an opening and closing door to take laundry in and out, an input setting means 17 to set the detail of an operation, a stain sensing means 10 to sense stains of the laundry, an energy saving display means 19, a storage means 20 to store first details of the operation set by the input setting means 17 and second details of the operation obtained on the basis of stains sensed by the stain sensing means 10, and a control device 15 inputting the output of the input setting means 17 and the output of the stain sensing means 10 and successively controlling each of washing, rinsing and spin-drying processes. The control device 15 turns on the energy saving display means 19 when the opening and closing door is opened after the operation comes to an end when the second details of the operation are fewer than the first details of the operation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
