PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for solving variation of tension between yarns, thereby making tension of each yarn within a specification tension tolerance, provided that a plurality of bobbins are mounted to one winding shaft. SOLUTION: This yarn winder 1 comprises one bobbin holder 3, to which a plurality of winding bobbins 2 can be mounted at the same time; a plurality of traverse devices 5 for traversing a plurality of yarns Y to be wound around a plurality of the winding bobbins 2 respectively; a plurality of tension measuring devices 6 for measuring the tension of a plurality of the yarns Y to be wound around a plurality of the winding bobbins 2 respectively; and a traverse speed changing part 62 to increase or decrease a traverse speed VT of the traverse device 5 so that the tension of the yarn Y measured by the tension measuring device 6 is within a specification tension tolerance for each yarn Y.
