PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flux-cored wire for gas shielded welding, in which weldability in all-position welding and toughness are excellent and in which even weld metal after post welding heat treatment can bring superior toughness. SOLUTION: The flux-cored wire is characterized in that, in mass% relative to total mass of the wire, it contains a slag agent composed indispensably of 0.3-8.0% CaO and 1.0-8.0% metal fluoride, that it contains, as alloy component, 0.03-0.30% C, 0.2-1.5% Si, 0.5-2.5% Mn, 0.002-0.05% Al,≤0.010% Nb,≤0.010% V and the balance consisting of iron, arc stabilizer, and inevitable impurities, and that X=[C]+[Si]/24+[Mn]/6+[Ni]/40+[Cr]/5+[Mo]/4+[Cu]/40+[Ti]/30+5×[B] is 0.20-1.2% and further Y=[Nb]+[V]/2+[Ti]/20 is controlled to be≤0.012%.
