RELIEF VALVE FOR VEHICLE COMPONENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a relief valve capable of preventing external contaminants from flowing into a cavity in a vehicle component in the breathing action of a movable part in the vehicle component.

SOLUTION: The relief valve 14 mounted to the opening end of the vehicle component. The relief valve 14 is mounted to the plug center blocking the opening end. The relief valve 14 has a mounting portion 40 arranged at the outer periphery, and a flexible membrane 52 having a slit-like passage 56 is arranged. The outer periphery of the flexible membrane 52 is fixed to the inner peripheral part of the mounting portion 40.
