<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a skin model having texture similar to the skin of the human body, a cutting feeling similar to that of the skin of the human body, elasticity, dissection property, and a gumless surface. <P>SOLUTION: The skin model contains water gel and silica particles made of polyvinyl alcohol where average polymerization degree is 300-3,500 and saponification number is 90 mol% or more, the water content is 20-75 wt.%, and the thickness is 0.1-5 mm. In a method of manufacturing the skin model, a polyvinyl alcohol aqueous solution containing polyvinyl alcohol and silica particles where average polymerization degree is 300-3,500 and saponification number is 90 mol% or more is cooled in a sheet shape to a temperature of -10°C or lower and a formed frozen sheet is defrosted. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
