<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve operability when changing a print setting for a user by preventing that contents of another print setting item unintended by the user are changed by the change when the user changes contents of print setting. <P>SOLUTION: A prohibition processing part for prohibition processing achieved by execution of a pointer driver by a control part of a PC decides that print setting contents of a function A is changed (S1), and decides that a function B having prohibition relation exists(S2). When the prohibition processing part decides that the function A has priority higher than the function B (S3), the prohibition processing part solves a prohibition such that the print setting contents of the function A having the higher priority are held, and changes print setting contents of the function B such that the print setting contents are not applicable to a prohibition condition (S4).
