PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical scanning apparatus capable of suppressing deterioration in accuracy in controlling a light amount of a laser beam caused by a relative output error generated between electric current sources. SOLUTION: A switching correction value 72 and a bias correction value 73 for correcting a sensitivity variation of a photosensitive drum 13 are calculated. A correction factor 81 for correcting a relative output error between a switching DAC (digital analog converter) 59 and a bias DAC 61 is calculated. The switching correction value 72 is subtracted from a switching electric current code value 55, and an electric current corresponding to the subtracted value 75 is formed as a switching electric current 60. The correction factor 81 and the bias correction value 73 are multiplied. The multiplied value 79 is added with the bias electric current code value 57, and an electric current corresponding to the added value 77 is formed as a bias electric current 62.
