摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device having flexibility and bending properties, preventing short-circuit between transparent electrodes and corrosion of the transparent electrodes, can reduce the manufacturing cost and enhance contrast by reducing black luminance. SOLUTION: The display device 10 is constituted so that a polarizing plate 11, a film substrate 12, a transparent electrode 13, an LCMC layer 14, a transparent electrode 15 and a polarizing plate 16 are formed in order from a side of a light source to be a backlight. The LCMC layer 14 includes an LCMC 14a formed by covering liquid crystal particles with a polymer film, a light incident surface 14e in which light from the light source 30 is made incident and a light emitting surface 14f from which light is emitted, wherein the LCMCs 14a are adhesively fixed by a nonaqueous binder and arranged in a plurality of layers and a surface shape of the light emitting surface 14f is a smooth surface.
