PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray analyzer which withstands the long-term use of a gas spring 1 which moves an open/close box K for preventing X-ray exposure up and down. SOLUTION: A locking frame 4 is provided for connecting the base end side of the gas spring 1 with the fixed frame W of the X-ray analyzer. The locking frame 4 is placed so as to be relatively variable with respect to the fixed frame W. For the long-term use of the gas spring 1, the locking position of the base end side of the gas spring 1 with respect to the fixed frame W is varied using the locking frame 4, and the upward operating force on the open/close box K by the gas spring 1 is increased.
