PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure which can easily repel an IJ aqueous ink, formed on a solid base of optional shape, as well as a method for manufacturing the structure simply and efficiently. SOLUTION: This structure has a surface which can repel the aqueous ink with a surface tension of not less than 24 mN/m. In addition, the structure features the covering of the surface of its solid base (X) with a nanostructural composite (Z1) obtained by bonding a fluoropolymer (C) with a weight-average molecular weight of 1,000 to 100,000 onto silica (B) of a nanostructure (y1) containing the polymer (A) having a polyethylene imine skeleton (a) and the silica (B).
