PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a valve metal anode sheet constituted by connecting plural valve metal anode elements which raise handling property and productivity in a manufacturing process of a valve metal anode or a capacitor manufacturing process, and a method of manufacturing the valve metal anode sheet. SOLUTION: This invention relates to the valve metal anode sheet formed by connecting plural anode substance elements each consisting of a valve metal foil and a valve metal porous layer formed on at least one surface of the valve metal foil. Each of the anode substance elements has a square shape. In the valve metal anode sheet, the plural anode substance elements are connected in any one form of a side-by-side row arrangement, a vertical line arrangement, and a rectangular arrangement by using a corner of each anode substance element as a connection part.
