PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To arrange and store electrical equipment such as a control unit and a battery to reduce the limitation of the arrangement freedom of other parts in a saddle riding type vehicle. SOLUTION: In the saddle riding type vehicle including a rear frame 10 positioned at the rear part of a vehicle body and extending in a fore and aft direction, a tubular seat post 30 provided at the rear frame 10, a seat pillar 31 inserted in the seat post 30 and protruded to the lower part of the rear frame 10, and a seat 13 fixed at the upper end of the seat pillar 31 and seated with an occupant, an insertion part 38 in which the seat pillar 31 is inserted is formed at a box body 36 for storing the electrical equipment, and the box body 36 is arranged at the lower part of the rear frame 10 with the seat pillar 31 inserted in the insertion part 38, thus arranging and storing the electrical equipment in the box body 36.
