<p>The present invention relates to a device for detecting excreta for a diaper, and more particularly to a device for detecting excreta for a diaper using a capacitance sensor which senses the inner side of a diaper for excretions in a contactless manner for a baby who cannot yet go to stool alone, or an elderly person or a critical patient who is less mobile, and gives an informing signal such as a lamp, a buzzer, vibrations, and the like to a caregiver. The detecting device comprises: (a) a printed circuit board having a capacitance sensor circuit; (b) a power supply which is located on the printed circuit board and supplies the electricity for driving the detecting device; (c) an electrode which is located on the lower side of the printed circuit board and senses the capacitance variation of the diaper; (d) an output which is located on the printed circuit board and indicates the capacitance variation sensed by the electrode as a signal; (e) a controller which is located on the printed circuit board and controls the operative relationship of the capacitance sensor circuit, the power supply, the electrode, and the output; and (f) a case covering the printed circuit board.</p> |
