<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rod type LED illumination with a simple assembling in which only a synthetic resin light-emitting rod and an end cap are screwed together, and in which there is no light leakage from the screw forming face of the synthetic resin light-emitting rod, and which has a high light-emitting efficiency of the synthetic resin light-emitting rod as a whole, and moreover, in which fixation of the LED mounting substrate at the time of assembling can be made easily, and furthermore, heat radiating effect is promoted by making a heat-conductive substrate directly contacted with the end-cap, and its manufacturing method. <P>SOLUTION: In the rod type LED illumination, the heat-conductive end cap 2, in which heat-sinks 21 are formed at one end part or both end parts 11 of the synthetic resin light-emitting rod 1 are screwed in a state that a reflecting tape 3 is interposed in between, and at the same time, one or a plurality of LEDs 41 are installed inside the end cap, so that the light is made incident to the end face 12 of the synthetic resin light-emitting rod. As for the LEDs inside the end cap, the LEDs are mounted on the heat-conductive substrate 42, and the light-emitting faces of the LEDs are contacted with the end face of the synthetic resin light-emitting rod, while the heat-conductive substrate is constituted so as to be directly contacted with the end cap. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
