<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sensor unit capable of controlling adhesion of an oil near the gas sensor of an exhaust pipe by an oil cover located between an housing and the exhaust pipe, and of precisely detecting concentration of a specific gas component contained in a gas to be measured without incorporation of an oil adhered on the oil cover into the exhaust pipe. <P>SOLUTION: The sensor unit 106 includes a gas sensor 1 attached to the exhaust pipe 107 in a form that the end surface of the collar 53 faces the external surface of the exhaust pipe 107, for storing a detection element 6 and the oil cover 100 located between the end surface of a collar 53 and the external surface of the exhaust pipe 107, and the oil cover 100 includes an extension portion 102 that extends to an side outer than the collar 53 in the radial direction and forms a plate extending in the whole radial direction, on which a circular recess or protrusion 103 is formed toward to the rear end of an extension portion 102. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
