The tedder, equipped with a series of toothed rotors (3) situated across the direction of travel and turned about vertical axis while touching the ground by virtue of supporting wheels (7). The wheels are connected by a regulating rod and can be turned and locked in position to control the angle of the rotor bar to the direction of travel. The position of the ground wheels can also be continuously controlled by a traction and thrust rod (10) which is pivoted at its front end to a point on the hitching mechanism stirrup (4) to one side of the vertical pivot (5) of the tedder's towbar (9). The rear end of the rod (10) is connected to an angled lever (11) on the tedder frame which is linked to the regulating rod. The two ends of the traction/thrust rod are connected to the stirrup and lever respectively by ball joints (27,28). ADVANTAGE - Improved direction control by simple mechanism is achieved.
