PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rainwater permeation pit excavator capable of letting a rainwater permeation pipe reach the ground having permeability by small-scale construction work, to provide a construction method for laying the rainwater permeation pipe by use of the excavator, and to provide a rainwater permeation structure to be constructed by this method. SOLUTION: This rainwater permeation pit excavator includes a base 1 having a through-hole 11 allowing a metallic pipe body SP to be inserted therethrough, a hydraulic jack 2 erected on the base, an elevatable slider 3 supported by the hydraulic jack, holding means 33, 34, 35 for holding the metallic pipe body while being supported by the slider, and a motor 4 supported on an upper part of the metallic pipe body to rotate an auger screw OS. In this construction method for laying the rainwater permeation pipe, the rainwater permeation pipe WP is inserted into the metallic pipe body after excavation and is packed with an inside filter IF and an outside filter OF on its inner side and outer side, respectively. The rainwater permeation structure is constituted by packing the whole inside of the rainwater permeation pipe passing through a bottom part of a street gutter basin LM and its outside with filters, respectively.
