PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus and program, in which, even when an image outputting based on a certain printing instruction is interrupted owing to shortage of printing resources, an image outputting based on other printing instruction free from the shortage of the printing resources is completed earlier as compared with the case where the image outputting is interrupted until the deficient printing resources are replenished. SOLUTION: A print job selecting and executing part 35 selects a print job to be executed out of print jobs other than a print job under execution when an image outputting in an image outputting part 37 is interrupted owing to the shortage of printing resources such as printing sheets of paper, ink and toner, which are consumed in the image outputting. The print job selecting and executing part 35 selects a print job to be executed out of the print jobs which do not use printing resources to be used by the print job the image outputting of which is interrupted. The print job selecting and executing part 35 also selects a print job to be executed out of the print jobs which meets printing resources required as those in the image outputting part 37.
