PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a building suitable to suppress a rise of the room temperature in summer. SOLUTION: This building 1 includes a first ventilation passage (ventilation passages 11a, 11b, 11c) formed along a wall 5, a roof 9, and a wall 3 such that outdoor air flows. The building 1 also includes: a second ventilation passage (ventilation passages 15a, 15b) formed between the ventilation passages 11b, 11c and the inside of the building 1, having one end part communicating with the inside of the building 1, and having the other end part positioned in a position higher than the one end part; and a window 13 configured such that the window 13 discharges, outdoors, air flowing through the second ventilation passage, discharged from the other end part.
