<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an excimer lamp with its electrodes prevented from being damaged by a base. <P>SOLUTION: In the excimer lamp 1 provided with a discharge tube 2 of a cross-section rectangular shape and hollow long-sized shape with light-emitting elements sealed in, electrodes 3, 4 fitted in extension on an outer face of the discharge tube 2 in its long-size direction, brazing materials 7, 8 connecting the electrodes 3, 4 with leads, and a base 9 covering end parts in a long-size direction of the electrodes 3, 4 and the brazing materials 7, 8, an edge 932 of the base 9 is in contact with a face where the electrode 3 is fitted on an outer face of the discharge tube 2, and that, with a gap 97 provided against the electrode 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
