<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for exposing a metal pipe of a resin-coated metal pipe by which a part of the resin-coated layer can be easily removed to expose the metal pipe. <P>SOLUTION: A portion 2a of the metal pipe 2 can be exposed by advancing a blade tip into a resin coated-layer 3 in a portion of the circumferential surface of the pipe 1 with a predetermined spacing in the longitudinal direction, creating circumferential notches 4, 4 into the circumferential surface of the resin-coated layer 3 through the relative rotation of blades A with respect to a pipe 1, advancing the blade tip into a resin-coated layer 3a between both circumferential notches 4, 4, creating a longitudinal notch 5 into the circumferential surface of the resin-coated layer 3 through the longitudinal movement of a blade B with respect to the pipe 1, and peeling off the resin-coated layer 3a through the action of a force F upon an outer circumferential surface of the resin-coated layer 3a between both circumferential notches 4, 4 in a direction opposite to the longitudinal notch 5. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
