<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a load-carrying platform structure for a vehicle, which reliably reduces an air resistance when the vehicle travels with no loads on a load-carrying platform. <P>SOLUTION: A groove 3 includes a vertical groove 31 vertically extending on a rear end of a side panel 24 and a transverse groove 32 extending forward from the upper end of the vertical groove 31 on the upper end of the side panel 24. A tail gate 25 includes a body 26 that stands in the vehicle width direction and can be provided at a closed position where the rear portion of a load-carrying platform 2 is partitioned, and first and second protrusions 41, 42 that project from both end edges in the vehicle width direction of the body at the closed position toward both outer sides in the vehicle width direction so as to be movably engaged with right and left grooves 3. While the body 26 is at the closed position, the first and second protrusions 41, 42 are engaged with the right and left grooves 3 and the tail gate 25 is slid so that the body 26 is arranged at a rectifying position where the upper rear end of the load-carrying platform is closed.
