<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser beam machining device capable of suppressing the influence of a change in a divergence angle caused by a nonlinear optical effect generated when a laser beam passes through an optical fiber cable. <P>SOLUTION: The laser beam machining device is composed of a body part 2 and a head part 4 running a laser beam that is transmitted from the body part 2 through an optical fiber cable 3. The head part 4 has a Z-scanner 27 capable of adjusting a focal position in the beam axis direction of a laser beam emitted from the edge surface of the optical fiber cable 3. The body part 2 has: a laser beam amplifier 15 for amplifying a laser beam by using an optical fiber to whose core a laser medium is added; a work machining-information storage part 12 holding the laser-output control information for controlling the laser beam amplifier 15; and a main control circuit 11 for controlling the Z-scanner 27 so that deviation of a focal position due to a change in the divergence angle of a laser beam emitted from the edge surface of the optical fiber cable 3 is corrected. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
