PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sweeper conveying the dust scraped up by a rotary scraping-up brush into a hopper by a rotary conveying member and collecting the dust efficiently without dropping it during conveyance. SOLUTION: This sweeper includes a running carrier, the rotary scraping-up brush arranged in a lower part of the running carrier to scrape up dust, the hopper storing the dust scraped up by the rotary scraping-up brush, and the rotary conveying member for conveying dust between the rotary scraping-up brush and the hopper. A conveying plate is radially arranged for a rotary shaft of the rotary conveying member, and casing side plates at both ends in the axial direction of the rotary shaft have an opening part for taking outside air into the sweeper in a scope of outside diameter in which the conveying plate is rotated.
