Disclosed is a glass ribbon which is characterized by having a thickness of 100 µm or less and having a convex curve on the side face thereof. The glass ribbon is produced by heating a base glass having a thickness of 2 mm or less and shaping the heated material by stretching the heated material until the thickness of the stretched material reaches 100 µm or less.
