<p>A method for evaluating attentiveness of a user of an interactive computerized application, the application employing a motor-controlled (e.g.) user input device operative to accept a stream of user inputs and responsively, to generate a stream of user-perceptible application behaviors which have a pre-defined initial correspondence with user inputs in the stream of user inputs, the method comprising imperceptibly modifying the pre-defined initial correspondence, thereby to define a modified correspondence between user-perceptible application behaviors generated responsive to the user inputs, and the user inputs; generating an ongoing indication of user attentiveness including measuring at least one aspect of the user's compensation for differences between the modified and initial correspondences; and accommodating for the indication of user attentiveness by modifying at least one aspect of subsequent operation of the on-line computerized application vis a vis the user.</p> |
