<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus which confirms the elimination of faulty conveyance by conveying a recording medium while suppressing degradation of productivity of an image caused by the faulty conveyance, and a program. <P>SOLUTION: When confirming the elimination of the faulty conveyance of paper, if a position at which the faulty conveyance is detected by a plurality of paper sensors 54 provided in a paper conveyance path and detecting the faulty conveyance of each paper is a predetermined position, the paper is conveyed in a state where formation of an image based on image information being a printing object is stopped.
