<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correctly translate an input sentence including an additional explanation. <P>SOLUTION: A translation device includes: an extracting means for extracting an additional explanation part from the input sentence; an adding means for adding management information showing the position of the additional explanation part to a sentence where the additional explanation part is extracted from the input sentence by the extracting means and the additional explanation part is excluded; a first translating means for translating the sentence from which the additional explanation part is excluded; a second translating means for translating the additional explanation part extracted by the extracting means; and a combining means for combining translated results of the first and second translating means on the basis of the management information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
