<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve convenience in electronic equipment having an interchangeable recording medium by solving the problem that convenience is deteriorated in attaching/detaching the recording medium to/from an insertion port since the recording medium has been loaded/unloaded after switching a power switch from ON to OFF to open the cover of the insertion port of the recording medium. <P>SOLUTION: The electronic equipment includes: a body 1; and a cable 5 attachably/detachably arranged in the body 1.
