PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress pressure loss in a cooling duct disposed in a limited space.

SOLUTION: The method of installing a cooling unit 50 includes: the step of disposing a DC-DC convertor 23 in a casing 12; the step of forming a casing assembly 40 by connecting an air inlet end 51a of a first duct 51 to the DC-DC convertor 23; the step of installing the casing assembly 40 on a vehicle; the step of forming a cooling fan assembly 59 by integrally attaching a cooling fan 56 and a second duct 55 to a bracket 58; and the step of connecting the first duct 51 and the second duct 55 by sliding the cooling fan assembly 59 toward the first duct 51 in a direction along a side surface of the casing 21.
