PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the breakage of a pillar trim upon the deployment of a curtain member in a mounting structure for a curtain airbag device. SOLUTION: In a curtain member 20 in a housed state, a portion 20e arranged between a pillar trim and a vehicle body is attached to the vehicle body of a rear pillar 5 with a mounting part 20h. In the curtain member 20, part of the portion 20e arranged between the pillar trim and the vehicle body is separated from the mounting part 20h when deployed by the injection of gas, and the part thus separated from the mounting part 20h is deployed in a cabin through the gap between a rear pillar trim 18 and a rear side windows 2.
