摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus which can correct blurring which has a large amplitude at a low frequency as much as possible. SOLUTION: This imaging apparatus includes a blurring detecting part for detecting the blurring of the imaging apparatus, a computation part for computing a blurring correction control signal as a control signal for letting a correction optical system correct the blurring based on the detected blurring amount, a highpass filter for removing a low frequency component included in the blurring correction control signal, a focal length detecting part for detecting a focal length of a photographing optical system, and a control part for exerting control so that a ratio of a change of a cutoff frequency to the blurring correction control signal of the highpass filter is reduced as the blurring correction control signal increases and the focal length becomes shorter, and the ratio is increased as the blurring correction control signal increases and the focal length becomes longer, based on a magnitude of the blurring correction control signal and the focal length of the photographing optical system.
