An information processing device on the side of a user utilizing a content.  The information processing device is provided with an information processing technique capable of reducing a processing load for embedding digital watermark.  A receiving section (700) receives digital watermark-embedded, ciphered, and transmitted pieces from a content providing server.  A decoding section (702) decodes respective pieces deciphered by a deciphering section (701), obtaining a content composed of the decoded pieces.  A watermark re-embedding section (703) subjects the content obtained by decoding the pieces by the decoding section (702) to embedding of digital watermark by means of a watermark system parameter stored in a watermark system parameter storage section (704), thereby re-embedding the digital watermark.
