The arrangement has a plug retention aperture in the socket insulating housing The insulating housing of the socket (201) has an inward extending plug retention aperture (209) with several first electric conductors spaced in adjacent manner for signal transmission, each with a spring section diagonally extending into the aperture. The plug (101) is insertable into the aperture and has second, spaced, electric conductors in a plane for signal transmission, engaging the spring sections of first conductors in a contact zone to move them into a second position. Between adjacent first and second conductors is fitted a third conductor coupled to earthing potential. The third conductors, between two first conductors, have also spring sections for contacting the plug third conductor on plug insertion. Independent claims are included for the junction socket.
