A control unit (102) in a provided wireless base station (1A) computes an error rate for control information the wireless base station (1A) had sent using a PDCCH to a wireless terminal (2A). If the computed error rate is outside a prescribed range, the wireless base station (1A) confirms the status of a response from the wireless terminal (2A) in reply to the control information sent using the PDCCH to the wireless terminal (2A). The wireless base station (1A) also corrects a reference SINR in accordance with the aforementioned response status.
